Position : Operations Specialist
Working Hours : Mon-Fri 9pm-5am EST
Salary Range : 900-1500 USD
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our team and help manage our flight deal notification product. The Operations Specialist will be responsible for monitoring flight prices and identifying opportunities for deals, as well as ensuring that our notifications are accurate and timely. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Google Flights and have general knowledge of the travel industry.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Analyze airfare data with the company’s proprietary tooling and send deal notifications to customers
- Use FareDrop’s proprietary browser-based tooling to monitor flight prices and send deal notifications to our customers
- Ensure that notifications are accurate and timely
- Analyze travel trends and identify emerging destinations
- Work with the development team to improve the functionality of the product
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient using Google Flights
- Has knowledge and experience in flight/airfare booking
- 2+ years of experience in operations or a related field
- Proficient with Google Flights and other travel-related tools
- General knowledge of the travel industry
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
