The BI Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and
developing data models and reports, and providing insights and recommendations to support data-
driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for
improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
Design data models and reports for BI tool.
Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization
strategies.
Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve data quality and data
integration issues.
Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members
and management.
Conduct meetings and presentations and share ideas and findings.
Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Document findings and data strategies based from storytelling.
Hiring Criteria:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information
Systems or any related field.
At least 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
Strong proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
Experience with data visualization techniques and best practices.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Experience in Tableau and other BI tools a plus.
Fundamental knowledge in Agile Methodology, SDLC, Waterfall or any Project
Management Methodology
Experience in big data technology an advantage.
Willing to work on a contractual/project basis
