Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree.
- With 5 years solid experience in Fleet/Trucking management preferably gained from the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent knowledge of transport regulations, operational issues, principles/methods for moving people or goods via land, road, rail or sea.
- Adept in route planning, map reading, trip planning for practical and efficient routes.
- Experience in auto mechanics is an advantage.
- Outstanding organization and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and team player.
Job Description:
- Plan all trucking resources activites in keeping with the company’s objective and targets.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the company’s transport operations to achieve revenue target operating budget.
- Manages daily operation of the 3rd party truckers, leased fleet, deliveries, drivers and helpers.
- Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests of the operations.
- Scheduling of regular preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency (for company-own trucks).
- Minimize vehicle downtime by implementing pre and post-trip status checks (for company-own trucks).
- Ensures implementation of once a month physical inventory of the trucks spare parts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Transport Strategy for all trucking operations.
- Conduct investigations in cooperation with goverment agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents and to improve safety procedures.
- Preparation of Incident Reports related to accidents involving the truck or the drivers/helpers.
- Proven ability to deliver even under pressure.
